Get out of your vehicle if it stalls on the tracks. Get yourself and everyone else out and get off the tracks immediately.
If an unsafe condition exists at a rail crossing, call the emergency number given on sign.
Always give the posted crossing number to support correct hazard identification. If your car stalls on the tracks, get out of it and run diagonally away from the tracks in the direction of the oncoming train.
Your car is replaceable. You aren’t! No vehicle is worth a human life. If you get stuck on the tracks, immediately leave your vehicle. Notify local law enforcement or railroad authorities.
